Signal....Mother

It is interesting that how I use the word "signal' for the last few posts in my blog and it is true that everything we see, hear, touch could be some sort of signal.

Yesterday I had dinner with my mom at a Chinese restaurant. There were some waitress and they are quite young. The one that served the two of us was obviously not much older than me and when my mom asked for the check, she asked the waitress about her age. This is not the first time she asked waitresses about their age, and she tend to ask them everytime when I was there. I guess my mom noticed that I do not look at young waitresses in restaurant, nor any girls on the street.

Signals, signals . . .and inquisitive mothers. The older we get, the more complicated our relationships with our mothers can become, as they continue to try and manage our lives, whether overtly, covertly, or a bit of both.

Hope you had/are having a good visit in Hong Kong--and a delicious dinner. "Reno Sweeny" and I ate at the China Buffet for some reason last night, and it made me a bit sick.

Have you thought about coming out to your Mom? It might clear things up. Heck, she might even know or sense it and she is waiting to hear it from you.

Only you know your situation, so in other words don't do it because I suggested it. Do it because you want to.
